In March 2023 the Botanical Life Square was opened in Fukuoka City’s Botanical Garden. From downtown, it takes roughly 15 minutes to get here by bus.
The center of Fukuoka’s “One Person One Flower” initiative, this facility makes use of its location to help visitors feel a deeper sense of unity with the surrounding nature. The Botanical Life Square in specific was designed to help visitors see, understand, and to eventually communicate the value of a lifestyle filled with flowers and plants.
In this facility there is the [Hall] which is entirely covered in glass, the flower and plant filled [Salon], and the outdoor [Terrace Foyer]. At each of these there are various workshops and experiences you can participate in, and they often hold exhibits as well.
