At the 18 participating locations there will be discounts, presents, and special events galore!

With International Museum Day right around the corner (May 18th), Fukuoka will be kicking of the 15th iteration of the Fukuoka Museum Week. 18 different facilities will be participating this year, with discounts, presents, and special events all planned. 

For those of you who love checking out museums on your spare time, we highly recommend getting to experience them during the week of festivities, and for those who aren’t normally museum-goers what better time to visit than now? 

Now, while museum week promises to bring plenty of fun to this week of museum-going, don’t forget that plenty of unique art and history awaits you at all of these places. 

Learn, discover, and encounter new things at Fukuoka’s museums! 

During “Fukuoka Museum Week 2024,” special events such as lectures and workshops will be held in addition to the regular exhibitions. In addition, many backyard tours and gallery talks are also planned. We look forward to seeing you!
