Unveiling the First [KAGAYA Starry Nights Exhibit] in Kyushu!

The popular night sky photographer and reputed planetarium projection creator KAGAYA is set to unveil their first exhibit in Kyushu! From April 27th (Saturday) until June 9th (Sunday), the event hall on the 6th floor of the BOSS E・ZO FUKUOKA Building will host the show. Visitors will feel like they have entered outer space in the exhibit room. The blessings of the night sky are yours to see with the vivid scenery including the Milky Way, moon, and aurora borealis. This exhibit will allow you to experience the world of KAGAYA’s artistry first-hand, 

About the [KAGAYA Starry Nights Exhibit]

Seeking eternity in a single sliver of time, KAGAYA travels the world in pursuit of the miraculous imagery that emerges from the interplay of the earth and outer space. These expressions have taken various forms over the years with photos, paintings, video, and planetarium programming all sorts of different projects he has been involved in. An avid communicator of the beauty of astronomy, he runs a space photography X account (formerly Twitter) that has amassed over 930,000 followers (as of February 2024), with his starry vistas enchanting people across the globe. 

This exhibit takes several of his representative works, dividing them into several distinct portions which are then synthesized into a comprehensive show. The parts deal with the “4 Seasons of the Night Sky”, “The Moon”, “Aurora”, “Following the Milky Way: A Trip”, and “A Moment in Outer Space”. Apart from photos that have been dug out from his enormous archive, there will be footage comprised of roughly 10,000 different photos of the night sky on display.

Entrance Fees

General Admission: 1,100 yen
College Students・High School Students: 900 yen
4 Years ~ Middle School: 600 yen

＊Children 3 and under can enter free of charge, but they must be accompanied by a guardian. A maximum of 2 children are allowed per individual guardian.
＊One cannot leave and re-enter on the same ticket.
