The 50th Nakasu Festival 2025: The Diva Project and female mikoshi processions will brighten up the streets of Nakasu!

A special three-day celebration for the 50th anniversary！

The location? Nakasu, the largest and entertainment district in Kyushu. The occasion? Nakasu Onna-mikoshi, or a festival consisting of women who carry other women on their shoulders throughout the area, showcasing both their strength and love for festivals! 

With its neon lights and festive music, this nighttime scenery is emblematic of Fukuoka’s culture. The aroma of food being prepared at nearby yatai, the fervor of the participants and spectators, and the smiling faces of all involved will transform this autumn evening into a special event!
 

●10/30 (Thursday) [Sake Bar Crawl]
3 of Nakasu’s popular drinking locations will participate in this bar crawl. Sample local cuisine and beverages as you immerse yourself in the fun nighttime atmosphere of the area.

Venue: Hotel Resol Trinity Hakata Special Stage
A singing contest featuring amateur divas performers, with a whopping 100,000-yen prize for the winner! Featuring many different genres of music and a gorgeous stage! 

●10/31 (Friday) ・ 11/1 (Saturday) [Nakasu Kunihiro Onna-Mikoshi]
Location: Nakasu 5-Chome: Nakasu Kunihiro Inari Shrine

Women will be carrying other women throughout the area in onna mikoshi, a traditional event. The climax of the festival!

The main street of Nakasu will become a walker’s paradise! Yakisoba and yakitori are just a few of the delicious festive foods you will find there!

During the event period, food trucks serving multinational cuisine will also appear at the Haruyoshi Bridge Plaza. Enjoy entertainment packed with fun alongside your food!
