Dates:23 Mar 2024 - 19 May 2024

The 37th iteration of the Uminonakamichi Flower Picnic, 2024.
Enjoy the precious blooms to your hearts content, with many special events planned for weekends!

This year marks the 37th iteration of the Uminonakamichi Flower Picnic, an event that is deeply associated with the arrival of spring in Fukuoka.

While the 1,000,000 sea-blue nemophila flowers are a main attraction, the refreshingly bright color of Icelandic poppies and plethora of tulips are just a few of the many spring flowers you will find vibrantly blooming in the park. In early April, visitors can witness the magnificent interplay of blue and pink colors of the nemophila flowers and sakura trees.

During the period, many events (about 40 kinds (tentative)) will be held mainly on weekends for families, couples, and friends to enjoy.

We look forward to seeing you there!
