Nakasu-Kawabata Area | Art,Other“Live@Museum” Friday Every Week at [The Fukuoka Asian Art Museum] 2024

To be held every Friday night at the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum, “Live@Museum”

Asian・Japanese music, dance, traditional artforms, and various genres of live performance will be on display. 

The Fukuoka City Foundation for Arts and Cultural Promotion is unveiling their newest and latest program, “Live@Museum”.

・This project is meant to provide tourists with an opportunity to watch some cultural performances on their free time in an easy and laid back setting. 
・By showcasing these performances in the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum, visitors will be able to appreciate the art on display there as well.
・Of course, citizens are more than welcome to come by! The more the merrier!

With this aim, live performances of various genres of Asian and Japanese music, dance, and traditional performing arts will be held every Friday night from 19:00 for about 30 minutes! (To be held every Friday until the end of March 2025 (tentative). Some days may be exceptions).

Why not check out some of the museum’s art while you’re here? 

The performances will be held at the museum’s Art Café on the 7th floor. By coming a bit earlier than the scheduled 19:00 start time you can also take a look at some of the art on display as well.
