Following last year’s event, “Summer is Hawks! Tenjin Summer Festival 2026” will be held from Friday, July 17, to Sunday, August 23, at the Fukuoka City Hall West Side Fureai Plaza!

The festival’s iconic yagura (tower) will be decorated in Hawks colors and will serve as a photo spot where visitors can take pictures with their favorite players. Additionally, public viewings will be held on nights when the Hawks play night games!

About “Summer Is Hawks! Tenjin Summer Festival 2026”

The “Tenjin Summer Festival” is an annual event held in Tenjin, the heart of Fukuoka, offering fun for everyone. In addition to the unique atmosphere of a traditional Japanese summer festival featuring food stalls and festival booths, it also offers Bon Odori dance incorporating pop music, blending tradition and innovation.

This collaboration, now in its third year, was born from the alignment of the Hawks’ desire to “go beyond the world of baseball and energize the entire city of Fukuoka” with the Tenjin Summer Festival’s philosophy of “livening up Fukuoka’s summer starting from Tenjin.” This partnership will continue this year to further energize Fukuoka’s summer.

Collaboration with the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks!

The yagura which is the symbol of this event and the stage for Bon Odori dance, will be decorated in Hawks style, creating a special atmosphere to the Tenjin Summer Festival. Banners surrounding the yagura will feature Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks players. You can also take pictures with your favorite players.
*Bon Odori performance times: 7:00 PM, 8:00 PM, 9:00 PM (about 30 minutes each)

Additionally, public viewings will be held at the venue when the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks are playing. You can watch the game on a giant screen and cheer on the Hawks together with all the other fans. Enjoying food and drinks, you can experience a special viewing in the heart of Tenjin this summer.
