The Cinema Night Fukuoka is a beloved summer event held at The LUIGANS Spa & Resort, a resort hotel located within Uminonakamichi Seaside Park. Now in its 17th year, the event offers a unique outdoor movie experience in a beautiful natural setting.

Screenings begin shortly after sunset, usually between 7:30 pm and 8:00 pm, making it a perfect evening activity after a day of sightseeing. The program features a wide variety of films, from Hollywood favorites to family-friendly movies that children can enjoy. Some screenings are available in both subtitled and dubbed versions, making the event accessible for international visitors as well. 

Moviegoers can relax on the lawn with a picnic sheet and enjoy films beneath the stars, creating an atmosphere completely different from a traditional movie theater.

How to Enjoy the Event

• Enjoy movies freely on the lawn area. Picnic sheets may be brought from home or purchased at the venue.
• Visitors who bring their own chairs are asked to sit at the back of the venue.
• Light snacks and refreshments are available for purchase in the cinema area. (Outside food and drinks are not permitted.)
