An exciting collaboration between the world renowned musical and Fukuoka’s premier show of water and light!

At Fukuoka’s most famous shopping complex Canal City Hakata, a special water fountain show is currently held, set to the music of the Overture from the Shiki Theatrical Company’s performance of The Phantom of the Opera. This special collaboration is commemorating the return of The Phantom of the Opera to Canal City Hakata after 21 years! 

The lively daytime showings become even more magical with the addition of lighting (performances at 18:30/20:30/21:30) once the sun sets. You can immerse yourself in the deep sense mystery of The Phantom of the Opera by coming to see the fountains at night.

The nighttime show with its lighting effects is the perfect way to make your evening in Fukuoka unforgettable. Enjoy the magic of the show after having a spell of shopping and having a bite to eat. Then after that head out to Nakasu or Tenjin to see the vibrant nightlife of the city!
