This year once again, the autumn tradition of Hakata, the “Hakata Old Town Lightup Walk,” will be held!

This year's lighting theme is “STARS: A Constellation of Light Travelling Through Eternal Time and Illuminating the Future.”
Historic temples and gardens will be enveloped in magical illumination.

Paid Venues: Jotenji Temple (Hojo/Kaizando), Tochoji Temple, Myorakuji Temple, Eijuin Temple, Engakuji Temple, Ryuguji Temple, Hongakuji Temple, Zendoji Temple, Myodenji Temple, Kaigenji Temple
Free Venues: Jotenji Temple (Buddhist Hall), Kushida Shrine (Nigiwai Square), Ichigyoji Temple, Hakata Sennen-no-mon Gate, Katsuragi Jizoson

Chief priests from different temples will gather across sectarian lines to celebrate the opening of the Hakata Old Town Lightup Walk.

★ Limited-edition Lightup Walk Goshuin 

Special Lightup Walk goshuin stamps will be available at all ten paid venues.
An original goshuin book is also available for purchase.
