From January 25th, 2025 (Saturday) to March 20th, 2025 (Thursday・Holiday), the “Tom and Jerry 85th Anniversary Commemorative Exhibit – If You Laugh, I Laugh!” will be held at the Fukuoka Art Museum. 

“Tom and Jerry” was a comedic series created in 1940 by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. The antics of the two main characters, the cat Tom and mouse Jerry, are a staple of slapstick comedy and have made audiences laugh for generations. Even after 85 years the series continues to focus on depicting the carefree days of the pair. Throughout this span of time, the show has provided audiences with a way of discovering the humor in everyday life.

This special exhibit incorporates a unique perspective that makes use of photo spots and shines the spotlight on the relationship between the two main characters as well as the eccentric characters that often accompany them. Don’t miss the original exhibit goods either!
