South Area | Night TimeYusentei Park Projection Mapping: A Feast of Fall Foliage

Dates:05 Oct 2025 - 24 Nov 2025

Bringing a swirl of beautiful lights to an Edo period villa garden!

Experience the beauty of autumn at one of Fukuoka’s designated scenic sites.

Yusentei is a small park featuring a traditional Japanese style villa, or besso. Originally, it was built by the 6th head of the Kuroda Family in the Fukuoka/Chikuzen region before being converted into a park and opened to the public.

The first Japanese style garden with a pond of its kind in Fukuoka, it was added to Fukuoka’s registry of scenic sites in 1998.

A magical world that makes use of these Edo period sensibilities and cutting-edge projections is coming to Yusentei this fall! Gazing out on the park from the living room of the villa while lights dance across the landscape reveals the beauty of traditional Japanese aesthetics and can only be experienced during this time of the year!

A nighttime exclusive experience, come and relax inside a traditional Japanese villa while light blends the lines between the real and the fantastic. Come and enjoy what’s sure to be an unforgettable feast for the eyes!
