Experience the world of Fukuoka’s sake and food! A large-scale premium event that is the biggest of its kind in Kyushu!

Coming to the Fukuoka International Center this September, &SAKE FUKUOKA is a once-a-year event where famed sake breweries and eateries from Fukuoka all come together under one roof. Last year over 12,000 patrons came to sample the food and beverage over the course of two days, with this year planned to feature a major power-up! 

Fukuoka well known for its sake, even in comparison to other famous regions. Come and sample the famous brews of some of Fukuoka’s best breweries and learn about the sake culture of the prefecture. The event does not end with the tasting either- learn about Fukuoka’s culture, cuisine, and even meet like-minded sake lovers at this truly extravagant event! 

The large Fukuoka International Center transforms into an enormous tavern, and it doesn’t end with the food and drink. Music, light shows, and even the design of the venue itself are worthy highlights that transform the event into an extraordinary spectacle and feast for all the senses. For two days forget the ordinary and give yourself to Fukuoka’s delightful food and drink culture! 

Also worth mentioning is that this is a special event in which the Fukuoka Prefecture Sake Maker Association, restaurants located throughout the prefecture, and the prefectural government itself are working together in order to create a project that communicates the charm of the region.

On Saturday the event will run until 20:00 at night, so it would be perfect for travelers seeking to find a unique way to spend the night. Also, why not head out and grab a bite at a yatai afterwards? Food and drink unite us, and the meetings you have here will become valuable memories of your time in Fukuoka.
