~CREATE THE BAY CULTURE ‘BAYFES’~ Turning the waterside into a ‘harbour brimming with music’, and making ‘Fukuoka’ an even more enjoyable place through the power of music.

‘BAYFES’, which attracts large crowds every year and fosters new connections, is back this year, bigger and better than ever!!

‘BAYFES 2026’ is the music festival that kicks off ‘Fukuoka Music Month’, an event that brings colour to Fukuoka in September. The theme of  this year is ‘CREATE THE BAY CULTURE’. The venue is Bayside Place Hakata, a stunning location overlooking Hakata Bay. Over two days, we’ll be showcasing ‘BAY POP,’ a new musical culture born from the port town of Hakata, to the rest of Japan and the world.

A waterfront where the sea breeze blows gently. In this open space, a diverse array of artists and musicians will come together, transcending musical genres.

One of the festival’s key attractions is that, whilst it’s a full-scale music festival, admission is free! It’s an open space where anyone can drop in and enjoy themselves anytime!
