Even after the event has ended, these routes are perfect for visitors!
For those who do not know, “Pokémon Go” is a game that uses one’s map location to generate the game in the real world. By doing so, the mysterious creatures known as “Pokémon” (short for Pocket Monsters) appear in the real world, and can be captured and enlisted in friendly battles with other monsters. The game’s official routes begin from the “Pokéstops” and “Gyms” on the game map, and in Fukuoka City there is plenty of fun to be had and hidden places to uncover by playing the game through the city’s storied streets.
