Japanese Tea and Hakata Confectionery Pairing Experience
A combination of 3 types of tea from F ukuoka Prefecture and 3 types of sweets from Fukuoka City will be sold together.
Combining different types of Japanese tea can change how you pe rceive the "sweetness" and " aftertaste" of the same sweet.
This is an experiential content that you can savor tea with all five senses.

Play-CHA KABUKI-

Experience "Cha-Kabuki," an ancient tea-guessing game also known as "Toucha."
A game that flourished among samurai, court nobles, and monks from the Nanboku-cho period to the mid-Muromachi peri od, in which participants use their five senses to distinguish between different teas by taste.

Feel-Exhibition and Sale of Tea Ware and Tea Utensils / 100-Yen Tea House-

A cup of hot tea is available for just 100 yen.
We'll also be exhibiting and selling tea utensils and traditional Takatori ware*.
Please come enjoy a moment with tea and pottery.

*Takatori ware is a traditional craft of Fukuoka, founded by the Korean potter Hassan as the official kiln of the Chikuzen Kuroda domain. Guided by the tea master Kobori Enshu, it is known for its refined "kirei-sabi" tea ceramics, featuring a diverse range of glazes, and the traditional techniques continue to be passed down to craftsmen today.
