Starting March 28, 2026: New Fukuoka Open Top Buses and a brand-new Dazaifu route!
Starting March 28, 2026, Fukuoka Open Top Bus will introduce two new buses and launch a brand-new route to Dazaifu!
Ride every day! Look up to see blue skies, and look around to see famous sights!
Gaze out from the open-top bus, about 3 meters high, and experience a view of Fukuoka’s streets unlike any you’ve seen before! On this approximately 60-minute tour, enjoy the open-air atmosphere and soak up the sunshine to your heart’s content.
Important Notice Regarding the New “Dazaifu Route” and the Introduction of New Buses
The Dazaifu Route is a one-way service running between Tenjin and Dazaifu, and passengers can also combine it with the Dazaifu Express Bus “Tabibito” and the Dazaifu Sightseeing Train “Tabibito” to enjoye the travel experience.

[Dazaifu Route]
・Departing from Tenjin: Nishitetsu Tenjin Express Bus Terminal → Tenjin North Ramp → Mizuki Ramp → Nishitetsu Dazaifu Station
・Departing from Dazaifu: Nishitetsu Dazaifu Station → Mizuki Ramp → Chiyo Ramp → Hakata Station Front Platform A (drop-off only) → Nishitetsu Tenjin Express Bus Terminal
【Important Notice】
※Starting on the date mentioned above, the routes will be consolidated into three routes: the “Seaside Momochi Route,” the “Fukuoka Sparkle Route,” and the “Dazaifu Route.” The schedules for all routes will be revised. (Please refer to the official website for details.)
※Starting Saturday, March 28, 2026, the departure point for all routes will change from Fukuoka City Hall to “Tenjin Expressway Bus Terminal, Platform 0.”

Adults: 2,000 yen
Children (elementary school students and younger): 1,000 yen
※Fares are the same for all routes
【Reservations and Ticket Purchases】
Tickets can be purchased starting on the same date one month prior to the travel date via the following methods.
Additionally, tickets can be purchased on the day of travel only if seats are still available.
