Head to "Live@Museum" on Friday nights! Come and experience music that will inspire you.
"Live@Museum", organized by the Fukuoka Foundation for Arts and Cultural Promotion, features live performances of various genres every Friday night until the end of March at the Art Cafe on the 7th floor of the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum!
There will be dance and vocal performances, passionate blues, and piano-accompanied singing. Each week, different artists will fill the Art Cafe space with music.
Admission is free, and no reservations are required, so you can easily drop by if you suddenly have free time during your trip!
The Fukuoka Asian Art Museum is an art museum that primarily exhibits modern and contemporary Asian artworks, and the cafe has about 10,000 books about domestic and international art and travel.
Enjoy a nighttime experience surrounded by art and music in the artistic space unique to the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum.

Izumi Tagami x Kensuke Azuma
An instrumental duo featuring Tagami's ocarina and Azuma's acoustic guitar. Their original songs highlight the unique charm of each instrument.

Elizaveta
After debuting in the U.S., she went independent. Known as the "alchemist of sound", her music has been featured in films and TV dramas. Elizaveta's piano and vocals resonate across styles and cultures.

MUTSUMI 5
A unique ensemble consisting of Kyushu Symphony Orchestra's Mutsumi Kimura (horn), Akihiro Onomoto (trumpet), Ikuka Takai (trombone), Suguya Takemoto (double bass), and Asako Yamamoto (piano). They perform a wide range of repertoire beyond classical music, including jazz, pop, and rock.

Little Melody's Jam
A jazz unit consisting of Daiki Iwamoto (bass), Misato Kubo (trumpet), and Yoshiaki Nagao (piano). They reinterpret familiar Japanese nursery songs that Japanese have heard since childhood with jazz rhythms and arrangements. Enjoy nostalgic yet new melodies.
