All along the streets connecting Hakata, Tenjin and Maizuru Park, nearby elementary school children, local businesses, and volunteer groups have planted a variety of brightly colored flowers, including 50,000 tulips, adding vibrancy to the surrounding area.

Event Duration: Saturday, March 21–Sunday, March 29, 2026 
By using the health app “Fukuoka Walk”, you can participate in a stamp rally at major flower spots. If you complete 7 out of the 10 locations, you will be eligible for the following rewards!

In the heart of bustling Tenjin stands the former Fukuoka Prefectural Guest House, Kihinkan. The surrounding area features flower beds carefully curated and planted by local residents, students and businesses, along with flower art installations that create a relaxing atmosphere. Meanwhile, food trucks and stalls, including garden shops, add color and vibrancy to the streets, set against a backdrop of flowers and greenery.

Moreover, on Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28, from 17:00 to 21:00, the flowers in the main venue will be illuminated, and the Kihinkan will also be lit up in pink lighting. Eating and drinking are permitted, so please enjoy the flower-filled plaza at night.

Flower art installations will appear at Hakata Station Front Plaza, Iwataya Kirameki Plaza and Fujita Park (located next to the Hakata Ward Office) from Thursday, March 12 to Sunday, March 29, under the theme, “FLOWERS IN FASHION”.
