How to Enjoy Flower Filled Fukuoka!

From March 22nd (Saturday) until March 30th (Sunday), the Tenjin and Hakata areas will be covered in seasonal flowers as part of the city’s One Person, One Flower sustainability initiative. All along the streets connecting Hakata, Tenjin, and Maizuru Park, volunteers from nearby elementary schools, businesses, and volunteer groups have planted 50,000 tulips, bringing joy and color to the surrounding area.

Event Duration: March 22nd (Saturday) ~ March 30th (Sunday)

By using the health app “Fukuoka Walk” (ふくおか散歩)***, you can participate in a stamp rally that will be held in the main flower spots. If you manage to visit 8 out of the 12 areas, you will be eligible to receive the two of the following rewards! 
・A special Fukuoka Softbank Hawks baseball reservation card (*1)
・A special BOSS E・ZO FUKUOKA Attraction 20% discount coupon (*2)
Those who manage to clear all 12 locations will receive an additional baseball reservation card.
*1: When reserving seats online, there will be a 220 yen processing fee to make the reservation. You may also apply for up to two tickets to the games with one of these reservation cards. 
*2: Usable until June 30th (However, the ticket is not usable during Golden Week from April 26th until May 6th)

The Main Venue: The Fukuoka Chuo Park Guest House Building (Kihinkan) Square

In the heart of bustling Tenjin is the former Fukuoka Prefectural guest house, or Kihinkan. There you will find flower beds curated and planted by citizens, students, and companies, as well as kitchen cars and art & craft stalls helping to bring color and life to the streets of the city.

We, the Fukuoka Prefecture Administrative Scrivener Association’s Fukuoka Chuo Branch, have been a devoted partner of the city’s central ward’s “Flower-Filled Movement”. To this end we have been cooperating with initiatives aiming at making the city a greener place.

We are a flower market place devoted to collecting flower seedlings and ornamental plants from the around the country before selling them to those in the Kyushu region. In doing so we hope to bring richness to the lives of others through greenery.
