The Nightwalk Illumination in Fukuoka Castle・Korokan – Bamboo Flowers: Dances in the Night – is a special digital night event that will be held in the Fukuoka Castle and Korokan area. 

The event combines traditional art forms such as bamboo lanterns and dances together with modern projection mapping and holograms to create a mystical atmosphere in which past and future intersect. This unique experience is truly unlike any in the city at this time.

This year the city will once again welcome the beloved winter holiday scenery of the Hikari no Machi HAKATA for the 14th time. 
The theme of the illumination this year is “Pray for Piece”.

This year the “Hikari no Machi” will begin at the same time as the yearly Christmas Market. Enjoy the brilliant scenery as you soak in the vibes of a European Christmas Market right here in Fukuoka (The Christmas Market will last until December 25th, 2024).

★ACROS Fukuoka Winter Illumination 2024~ A Journey Through the Four Seasons of Light ~

One of Kyushu’s largest-scale illumination events is returning to ACROS Fukuoka. This year’s theme is “a glittering journey across 4 seasons”. 
Don’t miss the stellar night view from the roof of the building, 60 meters above the ground! 

Along the path that winds around ACROS Fukuoka’s step garden visitors can now encounter cute critters and decorations of light meant to symbolize the changing of the four seasons.

Above the Sun Plaza Stage the “Light of Hope” will be bringing light to the interior of Canal City as the centerpiece of the illuminations for the first time!

Introducing this year’s limited-time only Christmas aquapanorama in Canal City Hakata- “Canal Christmas Miracle of Light”!

The Canal City aquapanorama refers to the coordinated performance of 3D projection mapping, water fountains, music, and light. Starting from November 16th (Saturday) a new holiday special is set to be unveiled: the “Canal Christmas Miracle of Light” show!

★Seaside Momochi ICE SKATING PARK ’24 – ’25

[Seaside Momochi ICE SKATING PARK ’24 – ’25]
- Location: Momochi No. 1 Greenway Plaza in front of Fukuoka Tower (2-3 Momochihama, Sawara-ku, Fukuoka City)
- Period: November 19th 2024 ~ February 24th 2025

The “Seaside Momochi ICESKATING PARK ’24 – ‘25” at the Fukuoka Tower-Front Plaza is the first event in Japan to combine an outdoor ice-skating concept together with a wide variety of festive activities. 

An outdoor ice-skating rink made with real ice will appear in the plaza on the south side of Fukuoka Tower. Starting with a Christmas Market, there will also be events through New Year and Valentine's Day, bringing a festive atmosphere to the Momochihama area across three different holidays.

★Fukuoka Tower Christmas Illumination

- Location: Fukuoka Tower（2-3-26, Momochi-hama, Sawara-ku, Fukuoka）
- Period: November 8th 2024 (Friday) ~ December 25th 2024 (Wednesday) 17:00 ~ 23:00

All 108 meters of the building are wrapped in glittering lights, and the interior and plaza in front of the tower receive a light blue glow, adding a mystical touch to the proceedings. There will also be a special photo spot for visitors to help make their visit a special Christmas memory. 

Located at the observation deck, the restaurant and café “Refuge” will be offering a special limited time Christmas dinner for couples! They are currently accepting reservations!

*The Christmas Dinner is only offered from December 21st (Saturday) until December 25th (Wednesday), and prior reservation is required

Winter Light Fantasy Illumination 2024

- Period: November 24th, 2024 (Sunday) ~ January 13th 2025 (Monday・Holiday)
- Illumination hours: 17:00~22:00

This year the front entrance of the Mizuho PayPay Dome will be glowing brightly as part of the light-up as well. Then, outside of both BOSS E・ZO FUKUOKA and the Mizuho PayPay Dome there will be several large ornamental objects to add some additional color and light to the surrounding area, making it into the perfect photo spot! Enjoy this beautiful limited-time scenery!

If taking a picture of the Mizuho PayPay Dome from the front, the connecting bridge to MARK IS Fukuoka Momochi in front of Gate 5 is a great spot. This year, the front area of the dome will be lit up in colorful lights. If visiting for a live event, be sure to find your favorite color and take a photo!
